Meet our Team

Hello everyone, my name is Zander Moricz! I am a Senior at Pine View High School and have been competing in Model UN since my freshman year. I am the top crisis delegate of my team and am the current leading gavel-earner as well. Outside of MUN I like to drive around with my friends eating bad food and listening to bad music. I am a Capricorn, I like Lana, Kendrick, Tyler, Ke$ha, Megan, J. Cole, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, the Florida Project, maximalism, cherry garcia ice cream, and run on sentences. Melanie Mahmoodi is a Junior attending School for Advanced Studies Wolfson. Her passion for Model UN started in middle school, and has since taken on roles chairing, backroom staffing, and organizing conferences. Outside of MUN, Mahmoodi is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves to cook. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, and eating crushed ice. She is so thankful to have such a dedicated team, and is truly excited to continue her work in FLOMUN.

Melanie Ulloa is a Junior who attends School for Adanced Studies Wolfson. She began her Model UN journey in seventh grade, without expecting the amount of opportunities and experience it would offer her to this day. For the past four years she has participated in a wide variety of committees, tackling several issues, many of which she has become extremely passionate towards. Throughout quarantine, she has attended Best Delegate trainings for MUN and even competed at an international level. Ulloa also enjoys dancing, running, and studying U.S. history. Above all, she is beyond grateful to have an amazing and supportive team helping this dream become a reality.
